Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a team of trainers and riding coaches that are personally grounded with strong values and professionally grounded with a solid foundation in horsemanship. This team is committed to using their God-given talents, and His gift of the horse, to challenge, encourage and educate others to rise to another level in their riding, training and personal growth.
Our team consists of:

Marcia Moore Harrison - owner, trainer, coach
Davalee Minden - business partner, trainer, coach
Barbie Miller - graphic designer, publishing specialist, assistant
Sue McMurray - editor, marketing manger, assistant

We have combined our talents to better serve MM Training and Consulting's clients.

Marcia Moore Harrison

owner, trainer, coach

Marcia has been riding and training horses for more than 25 years. As an adult, she opened her own barn, where she has deepened her passion to train horses and help people train their own horses. She offers services in all riding disciplines and draws from the experience of other trainers such as John Lyons, Lynn Palm and Bob Avila. She is an accomplished clinician, and through her training program provides a horse/rider partnership approach — from the ground to the saddle. Her expertise is founded on a three dimensional basis, where riders and horses become a complete package through compassion, learning and teamwork. Marcia is certified with the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association and serves the equine community as a guest speaker and presenter. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Idaho.

Barbie Miller

graphics designer, publishing specialist, assistant

Barbie was horse crazy as a young girl. Her best days were those on the back of a horse. Though her riding style was recreational, she always craved something more. Her passion for horses grew as she did. She pursued her passion by training with various trainers, including MM Training and Consulting, Julie Goodnight and Lynn Palm. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills with others. In 2002, Barbie joined the MM Training and Consulting team as a graphics designer and publishing specialist.
